About the role

Due to a strong pipeline of work, we are looking for a Cadet Quantity Surveyor to join our Auckland team. In this role, you will be working in our Auckland office situated in Grey Lynn.

Ideally, you will have 1 – 2 years of experience working as a Quantity Surveyor and will be looking for a role that will challenge and stretch your current abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with general administration and documentation related to quantity surveying activities
  • Effectively controlling costs of during the construction phase of a project
  • Reporting and forecasting of costs for duration of project
  • Managing procurement of sub-contractor and supplier packages
  • Monitor and oversee the maintenance of up to date project documentation
  • Committing to being part of a positive health and safety culture

Experience and Skills required:

  • 1 – 2 years in a similar role
  • Quantity Surveying related degree or diploma is advantageous
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience working on site is advantageous
