Graduate Building Services Co-ordinator

With the growth of our team and a number of exciting forward contracts on the horizon, we're looking for a Building Services Coordinator to join our team, a role right at the centre of the team.

As Building Services Coordinator your role will involve the active co-ordination of Trade Partners, and working alongside our Regional Managers and Project Managers to bring our projects to life.

This is a technical role. We are looking for someone who comes from a technically specific background; you can read drawings, have maths skills, you can work with diagrams and CAD software and most of all you have a HIGH attention to detail. 

This role would suit a Mechanical/HVAC engineering graduate with relevant work experience or someone returning to the workforce.

 About the Role:

  • Coordinating the Building Services Trade Partners, Mechanical, (HVAC) Hydraulics, Civil, Fire, Security, PA, and Electrical elements of the project.
  • Managing the installation of building and critical services to ensure compliance
  • Working with the PM, Site manager to ensure project delivery
  • Attend Client and site coordination meetings.
  • Trade Partner management including understanding drawings, specifications, programs, and scope of works.


Experience, as mentioned, is key to this role, however, we are also looking for the below attributes:

  • Be customer focused with a great phone manner and exceptional communication skills
  • Experience using AutoCAD is advantageous but not essential
  • Computer savvy, competent using Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Natural problem solver who is proactive, with a high level of common sense
  • High attention to detail is a must
  • Down to earth with a fun sense of humour


Responsibilities will include, but not limited to: 

  • Working within the Procore construction software system
  • Liaise with Trade Partners, Consultants
  • Ensure the installation of Building Services are to specification and drawing detail
  • Follow up with QA and sign off
  • Witness commissioning, testing of HVAC and Building Services.


 About You:

  • Experience working on large scale commercial builds
  • Experience in the installation of building services across mechanical, electrical, hydraulics and fire
  • Problem-solving skill
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in HVAC Mechanical Engineering would be an advantage
