Starting from humble beginnings in Dunedin, Cook Brothers Construction has grown substantially over the last fifteen years. We are currently made up of 190 team members across Southern Lakes, Canterbury, Otago and Auckland and operate under a strong culture.

About the Role         

We're looking for a qualified and experienced carpenter to join our Regional teams. You will be a team player, and proud of the high-quality carpentry that you produce, time and time again. 

Duties:

• Contributing to our supportive and inclusive positive Build Team and cooperating with our trade partners on site
• Completing all necessary carpentry tasks
• Monitoring and maintaining levels of quality
• Working in a tidy and efficient manner
• Committing to being part of a positive health and safety culture

Your tasks may include:
Concrete work, framing, hardware, insulations, joinery, siteworks, trims and finishing, windows and doors, erecting walls, building stairs, or precision tasks such as repairing furniture or installing cabinets, trim and moulding. Excavations, demolition work, precast erection, reinforcing steel, roof framing.

Experience and Skills required:

• Post qualification experience in New Zealand or Australia preferred
• NZ Trade qualification in Carpentry
• Commercial build experience preferred
• Proven ability to deliver on quality and high-level customer satisfaction
• Ability to work well in team
