About the Role

This is a newly created  Quantity Surveyor Role based in Auckland. You will continue your career working with a diverse range of longstanding existing clients.

This role will work with the dedicated Project Manager. The Quantity Surveyor will effectively control costs and communicate with the team throughout projects.

Your main duties will include:

  • Cost Controlling
  • Internal Budgeting
  • Forecasting and Reporting
  • Subtrade packages and tenders
  • Assess progress claims and variations
  • Relationship building with internal and external stakeholders
  • Working closely with the Project team on challenges and opportunities


About you

  • 6+ years' experience, working on high value commercial projects in New Zealand
  • Experience working on Commercial Projects
  • Relevant diploma/degree
  • Trade and/or Design background preferred
  • Experience preparing high quality tenders
  • Experience successfully managing costs through project life cycle
  • Ability to confidently navigate your way around sites and provide technical knowledge to the build teams
  • Good Commercial Acumen
  • Most Importantly – Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with team members
