About the Role:

Are you ready to be a driving force behind exceptional building services? As we continue to expand, we're searching for a proactive Building Services Coordinator to join our Christchurch team. In this pivotal role, you'll support our Project Teams, ensuring that building services are delivered to the highest standard—on time and in line with the specifications.

You’ll be right at the heart of our projects, working alongside tendering and project teams to capture scope, challenge designs, and champion best practices on site. Your expertise will help shape the success of each build, turning plans into reality with precision and excellence.

We're looking for someone dynamic and committed—someone who thrives on pushing boundaries, driving quality, and bringing out the best in every project. If you're a team player with a flexible mindset and a passion for top-tier construction, we want to hear from you.

Be part of something bigger. Build with us.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review tender documents and advise the pre-construction team on scope and completeness, in collaboration with Trade Partners and consultants.
  • Oversee service design elements to ensure alignment with the project brief.
  • Manage RFIs, lead services meetings, conduct site inspections, and produce internal reports.
  • Act as the key liaison between project teams, Trade Partners, and consultants, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Review shop drawings to identify constructability issues and value engineering opportunities.
  • Develop and manage commissioning plans for seamless project closeout.
  • Coordinate BIM requirements to support on-site project delivery.
  • Uphold health and safety standards while ensuring timely, budget-conscious, and high-quality project outcomes.

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience as a Building Services Coordinator or in a similar role
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Hydraulic Engineering
  • Hands on experience in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and fire service installation
  • Background in medium to large scale commercial construction projects
  • Proficient with technical documentation and document control
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
