About the Role: Carpenter, Queenstown

Cook Brothers Construction are seeking a skilled and experienced commercial carpenter to join our Queenstown team. If you take pride in consistently delivering high-quality carpentry and enjoy working collaboratively, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Be an active contributor to our positive, supportive, and inclusive Build Team, working closely with Trade Partners on site.
• Carry out a wide range of carpentry tasks to a high standard.
• Maintain and monitor quality levels on all work.
• Work efficiently and keep your workspace tidy.
• Embrace and contribute to a strong health and safety culture.

Tasks You May Undertake

• Concrete work, framing, hardware installation, insulation, joinery, site works, trims and finishing, windows and doors.
• Erecting walls, building stairs, and performing precision tasks such as repairing furniture or installing cabinets, trim, and moldings.
• Excavation, demolition, precast erection, reinforcing steel, and roof framing.

We are seeking a qualified carpenter who combines technical expertise with a strong commitment to quality and teamwork. You will be someone who takes pride in your craft and delivers exceptional results, consistently meeting the expectations of clients and colleagues alike.

Key Qualifications and Attributes

• New Zealand Trade Qualification in Carpentry or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial carpentry.
• Current Site Safe Certificate
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality work and achieving excellent customer satisfaction.
• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively on site.
• Full New Zealand working rights
