About the Role:

We're looking for qualified and experienced commercial carpenters to join our Southern Lakes (Queenstown) team.

You will someone who is proud of their high-quality carpentry you produce, time and time again, as well as being a team player.

Duties:

  • Contributing to our supportive and inclusive positive Build Team and cooperating with our trade partners on site
  • Completing all necessary carpentry tasks
  • Monitoring and maintaining levels of quality
  • Working in a tidy and efficient manner
  • Committing to being part of a positive health and safety culture

Your Tasks May Include:

Concrete work, framing, hardware, insulations, joinery, siteworks, trims and finishing, windows and doors, erecting walls, building stairs, or precision tasks such as repairing furniture or installing cabinets, trim and moulding. Excavations, demolition work, precast erection, reinforcing steel, roof framing.

 

Skills and Experience Required:

  • A Carpenter trade qualification or a minimum of 5 years’ building experience in the Commercial and/or High-End residential space
  • A Licenced Building Practitioner Certificate is highly desired
  • Proven ability to deliver on quality and high-level customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work well in team
  • High level of communication with the ability to build strong positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
