About the Role: Carpenter, Wānaka

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Commercial Carpenter to join our supportive and high-performing Wānaka Build Team.

As a key member of our build team, the Commercial Carpenter brings expertise, precision, and pride in their craft to every project. This role covers a wide range of commercial carpentry tasks, ensuring every job is completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering a wide range of commercial carpentry tasks to a high standard
• Working with trade partners and contributing to our inclusive, positive team culture
• Maintaining quality levels across all works
• Working efficiently and keeping work areas tidy
• Committing to a strong health and safety culture

Your Day Could Include:

Framing, hardware, insulations, joinery, siteworks, trims and finishing, windows and doors, erecting walls, building stairs, or precision tasks such as repairing furniture or installing cabinets, trim and molding.

About You

You will take pride in producing high-quality work time after time, thrive in a team environment, able “think outside the box” and value a strong workplace culture where safety, quality and collaboration come first, as well as having:

• Recognised New Zealand Trade Qualification in Carpentry required
• 3–5 years post-qualification commercial experience in New Zealand or Australia
• Proven track record of quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
• Strong teamwork skills and a positive, proactive attitude
