About the Role: Carpenter, Wānaka

We are seeking 1-2 experienced and qualified Commercial Carpenters to join our supportive and high-performing Wānaka Build Team. For the right candidate, this role offers the potential to develop into a Leading Hand position.

You will take pride in producing high-quality work time after time, thrive in a team environment, able “think outside the box” and value a strong workplace culture where safety, quality and collaboration come first.

Key Duties

  • Delivering a wide range of commercial carpentry tasks to a high standard
  • Working with trade partners and contributing to our inclusive, positive team culture
  • Maintaining quality levels across all works
  • Working efficiently and keeping work areas tidy
  • Committing to a strong health and safety culture

Your day could include:

Framing, hardware, insulations, joinery, siteworks, trims and finishing, windows and doors, erecting walls, building stairs, or precision tasks such as repairing furniture or installing cabinets, trim and molding.

Experience and Skills Required

  • New Zealand Trade qualification in Carpentry
  • 3-5 years post-qualification commercial experience in New Zealand or Australia
  • A proven track record of quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
  • Strong teamwork skills and a positive, proactive attitude
