About the Role: Project Administrator, Wānaka & Central

We’re looking for a reliable and organised Project Administrator to join our team in Wānaka. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting others, keeping things running smoothly, and taking ownership of day‑to‑day admin tasks.

You’ll be part of a positive, supportive team where people genuinely look out for each other, and you’ll have the chance to grow your skills without being thrown in the deep end. The work is varied, the projects are interesting, and you’ll get to be involved in things that make a real difference to the team and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out administrative duties for Project Manager and Site Manager
  • Scheduling meetings and taking minutes
  • Tracking expenses and helping with basic accounts
  • Being the main contact for project participants
  • Collecting subcontractor paperwork
  • Managing timesheets and ensuring they’re completed on time
  • Carrying out site inductions
  • Health and Safety checks and reporting
  • General office duties including answering calls, emails, and greeting visitors

Skills & Experience:

  • At least 6 months in a similar role
  • High level of attention-to-detail and the ability to produce highly accurate documents efficiently
  • Ability to prioritise and deliver on tight timeframes, with flexibility to meet competing priorities
  • Experience working with numbers/accounts experience is beneficial
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Can do, proactive attitude
