Project Manager



Cook Brothers Construction is a National Company with four Regional teams in Auckland, Canterbury, Otago and Queenstown with a combined team of 200+ team members.

About the role:

Reporting to the Regional Manager where you will lead a Cook Brothers team plus sub-contractors and work alongside the Quantity Surveyor on commercial projects that will deliver to our local community.


  • Plan and manage the programme
  • Zero Harm leadership
  • Customer Service management of all stakeholders
  • Reporting on Health & Safety, quality, cost control and budget
  • Meeting Key Performance Objectives of the project
  • Deliver on quality as per the customer's expectations
  • Adherence to policies, procedures, relevant codes and acts for self and the team
  • Leadership of Site Manager and build team
  • Leadership of Site Manager and build team

Skills and Experience:

  • NZ/AUS Project Management
  • Strong planning & programme experience
  • Strong programme management
  • Licenced Building Practitioner
  • Leadership of Health and Safety
  • Communication
  • Report writing
  • Negotiation skills
  • Finance and budget skills
  • IT savvy
