About the Role: Quantity Surveyor, Wānaka

As Cook Brothers Construction continues to grow in the region, we are looking for an ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join our Wānaka office. Key Responsibilities

• Lead cost control and budget management, driving efficiency and project success.
• Prepare forecasts, financial reports, and manage subtrade packages and tenders.
• Assess progress claims and variations with precision and strategic insight.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate across disciplines to solve challenges, unlock opportunities, and support team growth.

About You

You thrive on being involved in projects from start to finish and understand the importance of clear, consistent communication. You'll bring:

• Proven experience delivering high-value commercial projects in New Zealand.
• Relevant diploma or degree in a related field.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience managing costs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, collaborating effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Permanent New Zealand work rights.
