Site Manager

About the Role: Site Manager, Southern Lakes

With a strong pipeline of work in Queenstown, we are on the lookout for an experienced Site Manager who knows how to lead from the front and deliver projects to a high standard. You will be responsible for overseeing commercial builds from start to finish, working closely with the Quantity Surveyor and Project Managers while leading and mentoring both the site teams and trade partners. 

From programme planning and stakeholder liaison to subcontractor coordination, and health and safety reporting, you will take ownership of site performance and drive solutions with confidence. You will be equally comfortable on the tools or managing from the sidelines, ensuring quality, budget and timelines are consistently met.

About You

We are looking for someone with New Zealand or Australia site management experience and at least 5 years of demonstrated experience within commercial construction.

You will be an excellent communicator, with solid IT skills, capable of navigating tough conversations while bringing the team together. Leadership for you means more than giving direction – it’s recognising other efforts, building trust and lifting performance across the board.
