Hard Hats for Tonga

Community 24 January 2020

Ex-Auckland Brother Matani, recently headed back home to Tonga to join the family business Puloka Construction. Instilled with his Cook Brothers Health & Safety culture, Matani is working hard to inspire his co-workers to put safety first. To help him on his way, Cook Brothers Construction donated surplus hard hats to the Tongan Crew.

Pictured here are Matani and his team at Puloka Construction in front of the new police station they have recently completed for their community. This week they have an exciting grand opening by his majesty King Tupou 6. Congratulations to you all!

"Thank you, Cook Brothers, for the hard hats it has allowed us to be safe in our working sites. Since I have returned, I have pushed health and safety here in Puloka Construction."

Cook Brothers Construction's daily mission is to ensure every member of our team remains fit and healthy so that they can continue to enjoy those things in life that are the most important to them. We also value the sustainable practice of reducing and reuse. The simple act of donating these hard hats could save a life and even the planet!
