The three-storey complex compromising of twelve two-bedroom apartments is owned by one of Christchurch’s biggest rental property developers, Christchurch Apartments.
Located on the corner of Barbados Street and Oxford Terrace, the impressive establishment rests within the ‘four avenues’ of Christchurch, making this a highly sought after vicinity for its tenants.
The overall design by Context Architects incorporates natural colours and finishes allowing the building to fit seamlessly into its surroundings, soaking in the views of Avon river.
With Cook Brothers Construction becoming involved in the project at early stages, this allowed us to influence the successful foundations and structural elements which were redesigned to allow for a more seamless and cost-effective build.
This is Cook Brothers Construction second build for Christchurch Apartments with the first being the award-winning apartments at 15 Cashel Street.
