State of the art Station for Wanaka
Cook Brothers Construction was engaged as the main contractor for the carpentry and concrete component of the new $2 million, state-of-the-art Wanaka Police Station.
This building was designed to blend into its environment using a mixture of locally sourced raw materials. The project was constructed from precast concrete panels, concrete block, timber, and steel framing, and tastefully clad in corrugated iron, schist and timber products.
The finished product was highly anticipated for the local Police, who had since outgrown their previous premises and Cook Brothers were delighted to have had the opportunity to help these local heroes move into their brand new facility.
