About the Role: Site Manager, Wānaka

With an exciting pipeline of projects in Wānaka, Cook Brothers Construction is inviting Expressions of Interest from experienced Site Managers ready to take ownership of diverse and challenging builds. This is an opportunity to lead projects that develop your skills, support professional growth, and deliver high-value construction outcomes.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Trade Partners, and your site team to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. 

Your leadership will be key in driving clear communication, effective risk management, budget oversight, and strict compliance with construction methodology, codes, policies, and procedures.

About You

Our ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of demonstrated commercial construction experience within New Zealand and/or Australia, as well as experience managing projects valued over $10 million.

A trade background is a must, and you will bring strong programme and planning, management skills, proven leadership, and the ability to guide and mentor your team, whilst not shying about from having those tough conversations.

You thrive on collaboration, celebrate and ring the gong for team successes, and are confident navigating challenges to keep projects on track. A high level of Health and Safety leadership, compliance awareness and solid IT proficiency are essential.
